The Council of Graduate Studies and Research of Alexandria University discussed the proposal of creating "Judicial linguistic and phonetics program" as joint program between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Arts. This came during the meeting of the council headed by Dr. Hisham Gaber the university vice president. The proposed program aims at using linguistic analysis for criminal investigations and also using phonetics technologies to examine the recorded phonetics evidences to make use in criminal justice.
